A: When providing health insurance-covered medical treatment and dispensing insurance-covered medication, there are rules that must be followed by both the medical provider and the patient.

Regarding the obligation to present an insurance card, Article 54 of the Health Insurance Act Enforcement Regulations clearly states that "When the insurance pharmacy etc. requests the submission of the insurance card, the prescription and insurance card must be submitted."

If the number written on the prescription is incorrect or if you have lost your insurance coverage, you will have to pay for the medicine later, which can be a hassle. Please cooperate by presenting your insurance card at the pharmacy counter.

      Is payment by cash only?

A: Yes, in the case of self-paid expenses, we ask that you pay in cash as a general rule. However, you can also use a credit card by paying a separate refund fee. If you are not planning on receiving a refund, you can also pay by credit card.
